How coaching is booked, paid for and cancelled.
Booking
Coaching is arranged directly with Raj. A session is booked once he has confirmed a date, time, venue and price with you. Nothing is charged before that.
Prices
One-to-one coaching starts at £60 an hour. The exact rate depends on the venue, travel and the number of players, and is confirmed before a session is booked. Clinics are advertised at a fixed price per player.
Payment
Payment is by bank transfer or cash, with cash preferred. One session is paid for in advance as a non-refundable deposit; the balance is settled as agreed with Raj.
Cancellation
Cancelling or moving a session is agreed directly with Raj. Ring him as early as you can — the more notice he has, the easier a session is to move rather than lose.
Written notice periods, and what happens when an outdoor session is called off for weather, are being finalised and will appear here. Until they do, whatever Raj agrees with you at the time stands.
Before a child's first session
A parent or carer must complete the consent form covering emergency contacts, medical information and photography permissions. Coaching cannot go ahead without it.
Safety and liability
Cricket carries a risk of injury. Raj holds a current First Aid certificate and public liability insurance — ask him for the insurer and the level of cover and he will give you the certificate details. Players must wear appropriate protective equipment where the session calls for it.
