Cricket coaching in Sussex
Raj spent sixteen years as Director of Cricket at Lancing College and chaired the county's independent schools cricket committee.
From September 2010 to 2026 Raj ran cricket at Lancing College, where he built the prep school cricket academy and coached across the whole school. He was Chairman of the Sussex Independent Schools Cricket Committee from 2014 to 2017.
Mason Crane arrived at Lancing on Raj's first day there and went on to bowl for England at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Raj is still his technical spin bowling coach. More about the players he has coached.

Square 1 in Brighton is a regular indoor venue. Raj also coaches at clubs, schools and grounds across the county and is happy to travel — if you have somewhere to work, he will come to you.
